Meet Mr Biscuit 3

Meet Mr Biscuit, the adorable pup that knows over 300 tricks & 900 words. This amazing Border Collie learns 3 to 4 new words everyday without any actual training sessions! Mr Biscuit has been featured on MSN, KSL.com, Daily Mail, Caters News & Media, Newsflare, Yahoo News, Story Trender, Dailymotion, Live Leak.com, DogTube.com, Storyful.com, Coastal Courier, Herald Media, Bryan County News, Funny Dog Tv, Petoskey News, BitChute.com, Rumble.com, Aol.com, Follow News and many other media outlets.

🐾 So how does he learn so much so fast?

So how does he learn so much so fast? It’s easy, I don’t really have to train him, so to speak! It’s all about training the handler not the dog. So throw your clickers & treats away and learn how to communicate with your dog and you’ll never have to train a dog again! Dogs love to interact and play with their owners more than anything in the world, this not only creates a great bond between the dog and their owner, but also helps the dog and their owners learn each other’s patterns of expected behaviors.

🐾 Think about this! Dogs are very loyal companions

Think about this, dogs are very loyal companions and would most likely give their lives for their owners, but most likely would not give their life for a treat. This behavior tells us that positive interaction with their owners is the HOLY GRAIL of rewards for your dog… compare that to treats which will only keep your dogs attention for a few minutes. You gotta ask yourself , how good is treat training if it will only keep your dog’s attention for a few minutes? That should speak volumes if your paying attention to what your dog is telling you!

🐾 Funny thing about clicker & treat training is…

The funny thing about traditional clicker & treat training is, your told to spend 15 minutes twice a day training your dog. That’s 30 minutes a day, but what they don’t tell you is, dogs learn 24 hours a day!! That means my dogs learn 48x faster than dogs trained with clickers & treats… and that’s without any actual training sessions!! This bond is why Mr Biscuit can learn just about any trick within minutes… not days or even weeks!! Treat are not only unhealthy for your dog, but they are really just a form of bribery and don’t create a strong bond between you and your dog.

🐾 It was me who needed to be trained NOT MY DOG

Let’s be honest, who wants to keep up with, and carry clickers & treats around with them all day? And if you don’t carry them around, how do you reward good behavior throughout the day? All that adds up to a very inconsistent and time consuming training method that is just outdated!! Don’t get me wrong, clicker & treat training is a good option for inexperienced people trying to teach basic commands like… sit, shake, stay, speak, rollover, lay down, sit pretty… etc, etc, etc! I say this because I started out training dogs and other animals with clickers & treats over 40 years ago, before I learned it was me who needed to be trained NOT MY DOG!!

🐾 99% of all so called “dog trainers” got it wrong!!

The truly amazing thing about it is 99% of all so called “dog trainers” got it wrong by using feel good catch phrases like “positive reinforcement” what a joke!! Tell me what’s positive about bribing your dog to do something it doesn’t want to do just to get some food, It’s probably one of the most demoralizing thing you can do to your dog!! Yet so called trainers teach this garbage all the time! Most trainers will tell you that being a pack leader is a bad thing!! News flash… dog will not learn from the weeker dogs in the pack, they will only learn from the pack leader!! It’s called there survival instinct and it’s given to them by God! Being the pack leader has nothing to do with being mean or abusive to your dog!! It means you have earned their trust and respect!

🐾 The Golden Rule!!

So keep in mind that the next time you hear dog trainers say they uses clickers & treats as positive reinforcement and being a pack leader is bad or has a negative impact on your dog you’re probably talking with someone that hasn’t learned the most important thing about training! It’s about training the handler not the dog!!

🐾 Your dog should love you for more than just dispensing food to them!!

Your dog should love you for more than just dispensing treats to them!! Leaning on treats to grow your relationship with your dog can prevent the relationship from reaching a deeper, more meaningful level. Understanding this will allow any dog owner to make their dog a Rock Star by simply talking, interacting and playing with them. Think about this, clicker & treat training tells you to spend 30 minutes a day for weeks and sometime months just to teach your dog one trick. My dogs learn multiple tricks & commands every day without any actual training sessions… my dogs literally train themselves!!
